Ms. Glisan has penned an intriguing story involving the paranormal, orgasmic sex, and fascinating characters. As the start of the  Satin Knights series I felt Ware Wishes was a good start. Rayn is sex on two legs but he has a brain and heart to go with it. Ian MacInnes is a nasty villain. Jane The very sensual nature of the sex and the connection between the characters, even when love is not the focus, made the sex really hot. The plot takes many twists and turns and I had no clue things would end they way they did. For an interesting paranormal with lots of tantalizing sex read Ware Wishes: Book 1 Satin Knights.

Just Erotic Romance Reviews

The premise behind Ware Wishes is unusual and imaginative. I enjoyed the paranormal aspects that Melissa Glisan combined. The concept that Jennifer is both banshee and Korrigan was unique. The ability to love and hate runs through everyone, but the concept that Jennifer’s ability is so strong, passionate, and deadly is quite intense. The meaning behind Rayn’s name is a nice little twist and the realization of what his name has in common with him is sure to throw readers another turn along the way.

Ware Wishes is a powerful and emotionally wrenching novel which reaches far beyond the boundaries of sizzling erotica {although that is most definitely present throughout} to grasp at the reader’s heart and throat. In a story that will not be easily forgotten, author Melissa Glisan delivers a continuous roller-coaster pace of excitement, over-the-top sensuality, erotica, and suspense. This is not a novel in which the paranormal and erotic elements pace side-by-side like prancing horses. Ware Wishes would make an outstanding film with its deep characterizations, intricate plotting, and Ms. Glisan’s unusual ability to make the reader experience the story through each of the senses {including the Sixth Sense.}

I was twitching, running for my toys and attacking my husband as I read these sex scenes. I will never look at a stepladder in the same way or wear demin jeans without thinking about the sizzling sex in this story! I enjoyed the verbal dialog in the story that zips back and forth not only between Jade and Iago but many of the other secondary characters.

Mysterious criminal activities, a cast of bar patrons who are varied and some hot sex are the premise of FOOL’S GOLD.  …the heat between Iago and Jade is palpable and intense.  From the first meeting of their eyes across the bar to their first sexual encounter the author does a good job of building the sexual tension between the two…

Add twists and turns, a suspected bad cop, a rookie cop, and the daughter of an up and coming politician in the mix, and no one is above suspicion. As the sexy Iago took all of my attention, I was sure dumbfounded to discover the real crook. Fool's Gold is a wonderful is an absolute must read.

This story is full of colorful characters led by the primary characters of Jade and Iago. The chemistry between Jade and Iago is sizzling. A number of supporting characters greatly contribute to this story including Eric Rodriguez, another cop, Lieutenant Deke Oliver, Iago’s superior, Desiree Moore, Captain Marcus Kessler, Raja Bailey, another cop, Joe, one of Jade’s college regulars, and Flora and Kady, Jade’s friends and first employers. Ms. Glisan writes vivid, sexy characters. This story is very erotic and a delight to read.

Melissa Glisan graces us with a heartwarming tale written in  a lovely descriptive fashion. She paints equally well the shallow society high-steppers and the deep family bonds of Rose's lost family and Ryan's huge Irish brood. The reader will have heart in throat with
concerns for Ryan's safety and his reunion with Rose.

The Romance Erotica Connection

I am ashamed of myself. After all these years I have forgotten what it feels like to read a beautiful love story.  The Ballet is a well thought out, beautifully written piece of art. Miss Glisan's way of painting a portrait of need and promise is breath-taking and her ability to weave a truly inspiring tale is obvious and the loneliness and heartache that Ryan and Rose feel apart from each other was wonderfully portrayed.  But do not let the beautiful story fool you, she had a kind of heat in this piece that took my breath away with its elegance and sensuality.  The Ballet was a true delight to read and for that I have to award miss Glisan with four and a half roses from the REC.

Festival of Lights is by far one of the best novellas I have ever read. Melissa Glisan astounded me with her intelligent combination of history and fiction, creating a beautiful story and romance that is sure to touch your heart, no matter what your faith. Glisan’s retelling of the Miracle of the Oil is a religious fiction masterpiece, and a story that is going to become a holiday tradition for this reader.

Holly's Happy Days was a fun story... Holly was a hard worker who was kind and committed to life, while Jeremy was so sweet that I could barely stand it. He made me want to cry.  I had a great deal of pleasure from Holly and Jeremy; they could easily have stepped out of the story and be real people. Jeremy and Holly's sexual adventures were amazing! I loved reading about the development of their love. The ending was incredible. I enjoyed Holly's Happy Days very much.
